Kazuyo YAMAMOTO

My approach is always around the same theme which is what lies between the conscience and memory: the blurred memory and the sense of visible and invisible things. I am looking for a shape, an image, things those are there and, in the same time, are not present; things those exist half transparently. For instance, with my serie "Ordinary Days" I tried to illustrate this theme through images taken from day-to-day life. I worked mainly with stainless steel that I pierced to give to this heavy and pure metal some flightiness.
